West Catholic 2018 K/P Liam Putz is visiting Ferris State University this weekend.
Putz is the reigning All-Michigan 1st Team Kicker as the strong legged senior is up there among anyone in a Class of 2018 loaded with great kicking specialists.
Former West Catholic Head Coach, Dan Rohn is an assistant coach at Ferris State now after guiding the WC Falcons to 3 straight Division 5 titles from 2015-2013. The connection hasn't paid huge dividends yet from Putz as he's still in process of exploring his options, "I'm looking forward to starting my fall recruiting season and start visiting more colleges," said Putz. "I have had interactions with assistant coaches about previously visiting but never connected at the right time. So I hope this visit goes well and we continue to be in contact."
