Northern Michigan's "Athlete of the Year" Isaac Darkangelo transfers to Illinois in the Big 10
Detroit Catholic Central 2018 MLB/RB Isaac Darkangelo has transferred from Northern Michigan University after two seasons to the University of Illinois.
Darkangelo was coming off of a 105 tackle campaign in 2019 in which he also tallied 7.5 TFL and 2 sacks. On April 28th, Darkangelo's accomplishments were honored by being named, "Athlete of the Year" for the NMU football program.
Darkangelo held 6 D-II offers out of HS as well as a preferred walk-on from Michigan State.
Darkangelo is 6'2 223 lbs.
