Eisenhower 2018 QB Max Wittwer took one last visit of the recruiting cycle to the University of Michigan where he received an opportunity to walk-on.

On Saturday evening, Wittwer announced he was decommitting from Air Force and on Sunday that he would be staying in-state to play at Michigan.

Wittwer is an explosive and dynamic dual-threat quarterback who helped takes the Eagles back to being one of the best teams in the state before a leg injury shortened his senior season for the Eagles who finished their 2017 season in the Regionals.

Wittwer broke onto the scene in the playoffs of his sophomore season where he scored a touchdown run in double overtime to upset the favored Chippewa Valley Big Reds on the road. As a junior Wittwer played an incredible role in the Eagles cruising through their regular season where they eventually lost to Cass Tech in the D1 Semi-finals.

Wittwer has certainly been one of the most productive players in the state the past two years.
