East English Village 2018 OC Tyrone Sampson has committed to Fresno State (Story)
East English Village 2018 OC Tyrone Sampson was offered by and committed to Fresno State University on Friday night while also visiting their campus in Fresno, California.
Fresno State is a Division 1-FBS program who plays in the Mountain West Conference.
Sampson shocked many when instead of signing with Syracuse on signing day he instead announced he was decommiting from Syracuse and was focused on taking more visits after being previously committed since May, 2017.
Sampson was initially planning to enroll early but said he would no longer be interested in that route and also would like to take his 4 other allotted official visits during the upcoming months.
Sampson informed The D Zone that he signed with Ferris State, but the program has yet to officially announce him as part of the class,

- Player Analysis
8/23/2017: Sampson enters his 4th year of starting for the Bulldogs and his senior season is primed to be a special one. The interior offensive lineman is so strong and balanced that often times it just doesn't matter who Sampson lines across from. Sampson had a dominating off-season in which he was the Offensive MVP for Camp Pride in January and later performed well at the Opening.
College interest: Sampson's first offer was as a Freshman from Akron, his 2nd was from Syracuse which is where he committed to. Sampson holds 14 offers.
