University of Detroit Jesuit 2018 RB/LB "ATH" Elijah Collins committed to Michigan State University on Friday afternoon over 18 total offers.

Collins is a explosive, big-play back who will develop into a nice playmaker and reliable back for the Spartans.

Collins in 2016 emerged as a lethal threat for the Cubs and earned a few offers during the season but saw a massive spike over the off-season.

Player Analysis
8/23/2017: The 6'2" 195 lbs RB/LB has quite the story as he didn't play football his sophomore season. Collins came back as a junior and stepped in for injured players and he did not look back. Collins helped carry the Cubs to a 6-3 record as he was featured as an explosive runningback and a spark-plug at linebacker.
