Detroit Edison, DEPSA did what their Girls program did one week earlier by winning their Class C semi-final game in a comfortable fashion.

Led by a balanced attack of Pierre Mitchell, Gary Solomon, and Deante Johnson, DEPSA was off and running once they got going in the 2nd quarter.

Despite some huge dunks by Covenant Christian's Carson Meulenberg and 3 straight 3 pointers by Tyler Cammenga which fueled momentum, Covenant Christian couldn't overtake a DEPSA lead despite tying the score at 39-39 in the 3rd quarter.

Deante Johnson was his usual self with two clutch jump shots and late blocked shots to pull away.

DEPSA will advance to play the winner of Maple City Glen Lake and Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central.
