Brother Rice 2019 ATH DaRon Gilbert recaps MSU visit and talks recruiting notes

Brother Rice 2019 ATH DaRon Gilbert recently visited Michigan State University on Thursday to see what the Spartans were all about.

“My visit at MSU went great,” says Gilbert. “I spoke with Coach Salem and Coach Haynes. I also talked to Coach Dantonio for a bit.”

Gilbert has been active with coaches and wants to continue to building relationships with coaches throughout his recruitment process.

“I’m looking forward to really building on relationships I’ve established and making new ones. I want to show coaches that I can play at the next level on offense and defense.”

Gilbert liked Michigan State so much he had nothing but good things to say about the visit.

“I love the atmosphere in East Lansing. I also liked the intensity of practice from start to finish.”

With senior year coming Gilbert is trying to see as many schools as possible as soon as possible.

“I’m planning to visit Western Michigan sometime next week.”

Gilbert currently has not received any offers yet but a big summer and fall could change that
