Bloomfield Hills 2018 WR Ty Slazinski committed to Grand Valley State one day before signing day as the skilled receiver pledged to the Lakers over a half-dozen offers.

Slazinski was one of the best stories in Michigan during 2017 as the Black Hawks senior receiver caught 79 balls for 1,013 receiving yards, and 9 touchdowns.

Slazinski set a state record during the regular season when he caught 22 receptions in 1 game.

Slazinski also had back-to-back weeks where he caught 14 passes in a game and they were vs. the two Division 1 finalists; Clarkston and West Bloomfield.
