Region 1:
Escanaba ran for over 350 rushing yards with Logan Carroll running for over 160 and Scout Wunder for over 120, each had 2 rushing touchdowns. 39-21 win over Williamston who traveled 6 hours on Friday.
Region 2:
Senior RB Nolan Fugate rushed for just under 300 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Cougars 42-3 win over Belding.
Notes: GRCC knocked out Escanaba 34-0 last year in the Regionals.
Region 3:
It was expected to be a shootout both ways, but Edwardsburg was having none of that as they beat a strong Lansing Sexton program 52-30. The Eddies scored 22 in the 2nd quarter which set the tone for a strong finish as 4 different players from Edwardsburg scored touchdowns in the win.
Region 4:
#20 River Rouge and Cranbrook were engaged in a war that was ended with a 60 yard run by Alexander Smith, who then popped it in from 2-yards to give River Rouge a 21-14 win. Carter scored 2 rushing touchdowns in the win.
