Old Redford cruises to 106-44 win over Ferndale University
Old Redford jumped out to a 7-0 start within seconds of the game and didn't look back as the first quarter score was 39-9 and 65-25 at half. Old Redford put up a running clock for the final quarter as the final score was 106-44.
What Old Redford did is really impressive as the roster only features two seniors, but they also have two of the best players in the country in Guard, Mark "Rocket" Watts and Forward, Isaiah Jackson.
Jackson and Watts weren't alone in the dominant win as many Ravens had baskets and other nice defensive plays/rebounds.
Watts had a beautiful dunk and a behind the back pass to Jackson which resulted in a thunderous dunk. Watts also had some steals on defense and at least a half dozen 3-pointers. Early in the game Watts eclipsed 1,000 points scored during his Varsity career.
Jackson on the other hand had over 6 dunks, one which was an alley-oop. Jackson brought the crowd to their feet on multiple occasions with high altitude dunks. Defensively Jackson also had around a half-dozen blocked shots and at times shots were either so highly lofted over him or opponents decided not to shoot and dribble around Jackson and pass.
What Watts and Jackson did in front of The D Zone for the first time is a performance we won't be forgetting.
