OK Conference Top Performers: Week 5

We're through five weeks of the high school football regular season. Below are the standouts from week five across the OK Conference.

Brock Townsend, RB, Caledonia 2024”

Brock rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns in Caledonia’s 42-13 win over Grand Haven. The Fighting Scots are now 5-0 and will travel to West Ottawa in week six.

Cade Pilczuk, RB, Grandville 2022”

Cade ran for 173 yards and three touchdowns in Grandville’s 49-8 win over Jenison. Grandville improves to 2-3 and will travel to Grand Haven in week six.

Jeremiah Bridgeman, RB, Grand Rapids Union

Jeremiah rushed for 289 yards and three touchdowns in Union’s 41-28 win over Holland. The Red Hawks are now 3-2, marking their first three-win season since 2003.

Dahmir Farnum, RB, Mona Shores 2023”

Dahmir found the endzone four times to lead the Sailors to a 49-30 win over Zeeland East. Mona Shores will host crosstown rival Reeths-Puffer in week six.

Hunter Schichtel, QB, Byron Center 2023”

Hunter rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns in Byron Center’s 45-29 win over Northview. Byron Center is now 5-0 and will host Forest Hills Northern in week six.

Alek Wickstrom, QB, Grand Rapids Christian 2024

Alek threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns in Grand Rapids Christian’s 21-20 win over Lowell. Alek led the Eagles to a 21-point come-from-behind win after trailing 20-0 entering the fourth quarter.

Amir Nixon, WR, Grand Rapids Christian 2022”

Amir caught six passes for 126 yards and a touchdown in Christian’s win. The Eagles will host Forest Hills Central in week six.

John Passinault, QB, Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2023”

John completed 15-of-20 passes for 228 yards and five touchdowns in the Cougar’s 47-7 win over Ottawa Hills. The 5-0 Cougars will host Wayland in week six.

Ronin Russell-Dixon, WR, Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2022”

Ronin caught eight passes for 93 yards and three touchdowns in the Cougar’s win.

Jake DeHaan, QB, South Christian 2022”

Jake completed 22-of-27 passes for 442 yards and three touchdowns in South Christian’s 62-21 win over Wayland.

Colton Bosch, QB, Coopersville 2023”

Colton threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns in Coopersville’s 24-6 win over Allendale. The Broncos have an undefeated clash with West Catholic in week six.

Tim Kloska, RB, West Catholic 2023”

Tim rushed 14 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns in West Catholic’s 49-14 win over Fruitport.

Elliot Zainea, RB, West Catholic 2023”

Elliot ran the ball 20 times for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcon’s win.

Camron Townsend, WR/DB, Kelloggsville 2023”

Camron tallied 220 total yards and five touchdowns in Kelloggsville’s 70-22 win over Calvin Christian. His scores included two pick-sixes, a punt return for a score, a rushing, and a receiving score.
