Add commentLansing Catholic 2012 QB Cooper Rush entered the Dallas Cowboys this summer as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan University. After the summer and pre-season games, Rush beat out Kellen Moore as the backup to the reigning Rookie of the Year in the NFL, Dak Prescott.
During the four pre-season games in 2017, Rush threw for 6 touchdowns without throwing an interception.
Rush concluded his Chippewas career by finishing in the top 10 in four statistic categories: second in touchdown passes (67), third in passing yards (9,354), passes completed (744) and passing attempts (1,183).
During Rush's senior season at Lansing Catholic, he helped the Cougars reach the D5 state finals, where they lost to Flint Powers.
