Season Recap: Houghton Lake pretty much won all the games they were supposed to win and lost all the games they were supposed to lose in the regular season. Then came the playoffs, where the Bobcats avenged a regular season loss to Harrison to win 20-16 in Harrison. Millington tore through the regular season with the only slip up to #1 in D5 Frankenmuth by six points. A tough defensive game last week grinding out a 7-0 win over Hemlock shows at least the defense is capable.

Headlines: Houghton Lake with a win this week will capture their first District Championship in school history. Millington extended it’s winning season to streak to 28 straight seasons and is coming off a semi-final run last year. Can they get over the hump and win their first State Championship this season?
