Fruitport retains Canoe Paddle Trophy for 4th season in a row vs. Spring Lake

Fruitport rebounded from their week 1 loss vs. Coopersville by defeating their biter rivals in Spring Lake (0-2) to retain the Canoe Paddle Trophy for the 4th season in a row. The game is dubbed the Bayou Battle Classic and brings out the best in both teams.

The Trojans of Fruitport won 21-0, it's their first shutout over Spring Lake since 2006.
