Cranbrook sweeps past Bishop Foley 47-30 in division opener.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes swept past the Madison Heights Bishop Foley Ventures 47-30 in a CHSL Divisional Matchup. The win puts the Cranes at 1-3 on the season, while the Ventures fall to 1-3.
QB Krish Upadhyay went 21 for 43 and 424 yards and 5 TD’s in the win. WR Jacob Speller caught 6 passes for 183 yard with 2 TD receptions and 1 rushing TD, while Anthony Warchuck had 6 receptions for 104 yards and 3 TD’s for Cranbrook.
Charlie Fogle contributed 75 yards and 1 TD rushing, while contributing a sack, forcing a fumble, and creating a scoop and score TD on defense.
RB Mason Kamar had 36 carries for 164 yards and 4 touchdowns for Bishop Foley.
“We had good practices all week with good energy and focus”, said Cranes Head Coach Jon Clauss. “This was a great way to start our division schedule. I’m very proud of our team.”
The Cranes move on to face Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard on the road in Week 5, while the Ventures host Macomb Lutheran North in CHSL divisional play.
